In my opinion

X-series and M&B franchise are hardly "full" sandboxes, you just don't have linear gameplay. I agree on Dwarf Fortress, but that is not a game, it's an electronic mindfuck.

Wurm Online is a lot better than minecraft.  But I don't have OCD and 400 hours a week to spend playing video games.

The beta for this is open now for those with the 3 signups. Been playing it and as I thought it'll be an epic grind to produce even the most basic items.
