Auto Voice-chat Lockout

There's really no reason that voice command are able to be spammed for minutes at a time. An auto-lockout after x number of attempts would make this a much more pleasant mod.

Or introduce permanent qmv. The only reason I ever hear voice commands is because I forget to press qmv. I can't recall a single time the voice commands helped my in any way, except slightly made me smile on occasions, but those are rare.

Allow me to perma-qmv!

Just add a delay between commands, so one person can only use a command every 5-10 seconds. They have the potential to be extremely useful, but there's no reason (other than just to annoy people) to spam them over and over.

Whistling is quite useful, and "incoming cavalry from..." at times, but otherwise yeah they're pretty useless.

Although the new female "Hello" "Silence" and "No" are pretty epic :p

The "Help" shout is also quite useful, but unfortunately people rarely use it when they need to.

I suggested this in game yesterday as well.  It's kind of a "no brainer" suggestion.  There should be something that prevents you from using the voice commands more than once every minute or 30 seconds, and if you keep trying it you get voice commands locked for 5 or 10 minutes.

This!

Well the commands like incoming cav/inf would be quite useful but I find it very hard to remember the combination for them when I'm in the need for them. I even have problems whistling when in a fight which often results in random commands. I wish there would be a way to bind some of the commands to a single key.
The logic of war seems to be that if a belligerent can fight he will fight.

That could be a problem when several ppl are whistling for a horse.

I completely ignore this one as I use it as an "ultimate escape sequence" from the command menu when I am in the wrong menu.

I am against this

Spamming voices is one of the most entertaining thing in cRPG to do! Yelling "Retreat!" while escaping enemies makes me giggle  :D

Too bad I can't do that anymore  My character is a female.... Need to just "No" when escaping. But it doesn't feel the same  :o

I've never cared about the spamming, in fact I quite enjoy it. The female voices have only increased my enjoyment. Of course, the option to ignore them should be there too.

There are only two options currently, QMV and ignore idiots and useful commands, or listen to the spam.

An alternative would be to cause the mute function that works individually for chat to also individually mute players voice commands, while leaving the non-morons able to communicate quick information.
