This game doesn't hold a candle to that other game you and I and everyone plays all the time, anyhow. Your under-userpic blurb has resonated with me for as long as I've seen it there, my man. Reading about the life, trial, and death of Socrates in the high school library while skipping class was, I have to admit, one of the turning points in my life and has contributed to a great degree the manner in which I engage with the felt presence of experiential immediacy! Hooray for ontology!

To be clear, I enjoy the game, the combat, the way the outcome of each foray into enemy lines is an event of great uncertainty, and I do have fun with it whenever I play- I've just been having a lot of fun playing the "great game".
