So I'm sitting outside of this restroom in the Badlands waiting for some old man to come out. He's been taking awhile and I start to think I should find another place to piss but all the other rooms had queues as well. After about 5-10 minutes this dude finally comes out and gives me a grave look, resting his hand on my shoulder, and says, "I made a god damn mess in there". I'm pretty flummoxed and say something about it being fine since I only have to piss anyhow. I go into the restroom, completely unprepared for the horror I was about to behold. The toilet seat. The tank. The wall behind the toilet. The floor and side of the bowl. They're all covered in dense, fudge-like feces. I take a leak from a safe distance and get the hell out of there. I say nothing to the young (under 10) year old girl in line for the restroom behind me. I'll never forget that man. I... loved him. I can say that now.
