I am Canadian, thus school is largely paid for by my parents taxes I pay about 8-10k for a full year, which is totally payable with a summer/part time job. Student loans are also from the government and they don't charge interest till half a year after you graduate. Even then, you can get a bunch of grants and occasionally the gov't just randomly waives off money you owe if you're in financial need. Welfare state ftw
