Well, I've barely been touching warband since I got Skyrim, given that NA only had 2 small servers that were populated and my poor poor computer can barely run it on dx7. IT WAS A GIVEN THAT I NEEDED IT ON MY PS3 YO, and Karma, why you hatin' on Skyrim; Get at me.

Well if you have a shitty PC.  Also, Oblivion on console was much easier to navigate the speech, items, selling, etc windows. 

Playing RPG's on consoles is actually decent.  Would make more sense than trying to play an FPS on a console.

GTA IV on my computer (at the time of release) was a current gen computer and would run any game very well at the time.  But compared to playing GTA IV on my PS3 it was night and day.  My PS3 displayed graphics farther than 30 feet in front of me, no matter what settings I tweaked on my PC I could only get about 10-20% view distance. 

If I didn't have a brand new computer I'd wait a month and would 100% get Skyrim on console.

gameplay and "navigation" of your character is way better on the console.
PC has lightly better graphics etc tho

Honestly while shooting is better on a PC due to the mouse being more sensitive then an analog controller, movement is better on a console due to having a real analog stick instead of the clunky "you have 8 choices" WASD keys. Give and take. The PC is best if you have a nice rig for you can get some amazing game engines and nice graphics and all the cool mods etc, but sometimes we want to have a party, and sit a console in the corner and hook up a funny multiplayer game.

Also, Dark Souls is console only... nuff said.

Yeah movement with keys sucks...it boils down to all or nothing (or "tap" "tap" "tap" of the keys).  Console controllers are nice because you can push them down some or all of the way.  I'm not sure if the buttons on console controllers work the same as a keyboard button (all or nothing) but I could have sworn you can hit the buttons lighter or softer to get different results on consoles.

Console shooters boil down to aim to the general direction (and exact height), strafe into the final position to line up the shot.  Some good memories from SOCOM on DSL where I could take 20-30 hits before dying due to them trying to lag compensate and let people on dial up play with broadband users.
