Actually yes. I am just as much of an asshole IRL as on the net.
Example: Does that mean in life Gorath you're some kind of hateful lonely man going day to day insulting people and generally being a douchebag to everyone in life? Doubt it.
Again, pretty much yes. Minus the lonely part. For the most part I generally get along with individuals or SMALL groups (such as TS, which is also why when the channel reaches my personal level of critical mass and becomes too derpy, loud and annoying I leave to hang out with the smaller group of guys I like in a different channel). But as a whole I fucking hate people. Not just a little bit, but a general feeling of disgust the more and more I see of them. Which, I think, is why I am quite enjoying the life of a trucker. I get to spend my time either alone and peaceful, dealing with small groups of people (shipping/recieving depts) or individuals. I also, blissfully, am in a field where I can be a non-PC asshole to anyone and everyone that annoys me and not have to worry about any negative repurcussions from it affecting my job. If some dumbfuck teen is fucking up shit on the warehouse dock I can call him out for being a complete moronic asshat to my hearts content.
You, my friend, are a dick. Deep down, IRL, you are a dick. Difference is that it's just not acceptable or beneficial for you to be so in society so you repress it and go through the motions of life as needed. But here, where there are no inhibitions or repurcussions you act like a fuckwit, because you really enjoy being a dick. If your nature was otherwise you would act otherwise. This is the way the internet functions: People act how they really want to act. Want to act like a dumbass, they act like a dumbass. Want to act like an asshole/troll, they do so. Want to be nice and make friends, they do so. Mood swings are more free here as well. Today I'm all hurr durr lets all have a laugh and act like idiots, tomorrow I'm in a bad mood so I act like a piece of shit and try to make someone's feelings hurt.
TLDR: Cool story bro, but I don't buy it.
