Dude, the Blueprint 3 was the shit. Lyrically as well as production it is great. Also, Jay-z was one of the first guys that switched over from being a "gangster rapper" into a "modern rapper". Modern rap I consider to be more egotistically based and has more to do with bragging rights and money than anything else. Except for maybe pussy... but even that is going out the window. Kanye is obnoxious but amazing. Jay-z also just knocked up (arguably) the hottest black woman on the planet.  I'll go ahead and "brush my shoulders off" now.
