Rageball Balance

Right now there's 9 players vs 18.

Balance appears to be fucked because it's been like this for 2 goals on this map and most of the last map as well. One team seems to be always outnumbering the other by 2 to 1.

Edit:

New map and now it's 15 vs 8.

O and even though we outnumber the other team by 2 to 1 we are still getting a multi each time we score.

This isn't only happening on Rageball.

Battle, is always badly balanced, let it be numbers, or too much ranged/cavalry on one team.
I remember playing like a day ago, our team got two cavalry, and I single-handedly dehorsed five with my long spear, but they still had horsemen riding around.

And I'm not raging or anything. Last time I was playing I got x5 for three maps straight, it ended on the 4th middle.
It's just not right. e.e

In battle you don't get a multi if it's unbalanced. Here you do.

And it's 7 vs 16 now.

Still, balance is a problem in both modes, in my opinion.

Right now there's just a load of afk people on the winning team not doing anything and getting a nice multi. Bit stupid really.

Rageball balance is indeed weird, you can manually switch teams though with those numbers. Maybe there are some good guys there that are willing to switch to the outnumbered side.

For battle I'm glad there is not perfect balance. If there was you probably would rarely see x3 and we would all be fucked cause xp/gold gaining is best if there are win streaks. Really good balance means a lot less raping by one team and much less xp/gold.

Well it seems to be better now finally after 3 maps of completely uneven teams. Teams are more even.

So, the actual battle mode would be more fun to play, as a non clan member, or people wouldn't leech via banners?

I clearly see why you're defending it, and can understand it. However, it screws an entire team over, way too much.
A "lot less raping by one team" is just good, because you'd get less unwinnable situations, like when my team dies out,
but on the other side, there are like 30 guys still standing. Do you call that balanced?

Pretty sure that those who milk x5's don't give a damn, and think it's "balanced" that way, while maintaining it over 5 maps.
 It isn't.

Worse, I've been in a  Rageball game where the other team had 3 extra men and when we finally did manage to score one after they'd scored four, a message appeared saying that we were not going to get x2 because the teams were not fair!

I respect your opinion, but can't agree with it. You might be a bit biased because you get lucky and get free x5 streaks, or use a good clan's banner when they're on?

I agree about Rageball balance though, it's bad.

But, who the hell wants a system like that? Nobody.

It should be perfecto in the second round, no more switches after that.

The problem is that a lot of people are getting destroyed without a chance, to actually fight back, while you or me, enjoy getting our too easy x5-s. Where is the challenge in, let's say 2v10 cav teams? It wouldn't ruin as much if it would be an 5-5 for an example.

Dunno, I like playing against the odds. Only thing make me rage is failing teamwork. After 3 rounds going to that house, standing nearby and getting slaughtered nobody agrees on camping spawn or charging furhter or do something - no do the same again and loose again. No balance can fix that.

Though I agree that a balance by classes would be a good thing. Still don't know if this is even possible?

Now we really captured that thread! :D
