I definetly dont need full IF or WPM. I'd like to ride a horsey sometimes, tho I might have problems with upkeep.
Which build is the best and why?

I did 1h and I actually found 24/15 to be my favourite, surprisingly enough.

But I don't know, both work I guess. A good tip is to use a mace though

24/18: 8 ps, 6 shield, 6 ath
18/21: 6 ps, 7 shield, 7 ath, 3 wm

If you realy want to use a horse,  24/15 can should be able to squeeze in riding.

5 riding is enough to ride armored horses, Destrier, 7 PS is something that you need with 1h weapons. You can put some points in crossbow, 130 wpf in one handed will allow you to have 85 wpf in xbow, but after latest patch I'm not sure if it worth it.

Ditch the riding, ditch the high end shield skill and go for a 21/15 with 7IF and 7PS 5MW 5ATH 5Shield

I find this build to be quiet good. going 21/18 I find looses too much punch.

imo 24/15 or 21/15. 21/18 Works too. I hate dropping below 7 PS especially with a 1h.

i find 1h build is totally based on the weapon you use, 5ps is too low for swords but is fine for maces/picks

You guys are telling me that 5 ps is enough for maces (I find this very true), 6 ps is enough for everything and everything under 7 ps is not enough? Care to tell me why?

less than 7ps with most swords u seem to glance a lot. scimitar and military cleaver seem to work ok with 6ps.

You need about 33-34 cut damage at least to prevent glancing on most attacks with 6 PS. Not an issue from horseback though.

Dude it depend on how you fight, you're a shielder, hit only when you have the right timing and angle, chambers and protect yourself when you cant.

Agi build is shit for mace, I know what I'm talking about, I tried 12/27 and 15/21 build with x3 flanged mace and winged mace it was just plain boring, now I'm 27/12 and it's alot of fun, lot of knockdown and massive damage, take as much PS as you can if you want to use a mace, those weapons are best with strenght build.
