Erm, TW changed the rank system to time spent online a long time ago, so spamming doesn't give you better ranks.

Sure, it could be abused by idling, but at least they don't spam.
Plus, there are ways to stop idling up, to count activity.

I agree about that it takes time and effort away from important stuff though.

Should be based on how many +1 you get on your posts, not how many posts.

Make it so you can lose rank by getting a lot of -1.

Maybe change the voting system so you can only give 1 vote a day.

Pointless ranks are pointless, keep it as is.

There is no difference between a peasant with 20 posts as there is a peasant with 7000 shitposts like me.

Doesn't have to be prince, its just the second option , could become Grand Master Knight just like in talesworld Tears.

Aye , the ranking system could also level up by the amount of time you spend on forum just like in other forums. Spammers will sure get muted, even worse banned by moderators.

rank are fun side show but it's just a side show thing on big forum like that.

when i'm admin on small forum (like less than 30 people) I usually put cool personal rank so people feel better. but on big forum like this, you earn your rank with good post and utility or originality and inside thing with dev.

make your own rank, you have a big space for signature and a big avatar, perfect place to state some insightful thing here!
