I got that really strange feeling that all fail archers respec to fail cav. The idea probably was to force devs to nerf/cav or buff their lovely bows but for now its more fun for me more horsies to stab and more ppl are trying to stick with team.

Yeah and I have to say, as a cav I hate the current amount of cav. On EU_1 I can't ride 10 meters without having to dodge some ally cav, and attacking is in fact more dangerous than it used to because the risk of being stopped by another cav right next to an enemy inf group is not negligible at all. I know it will probably decrease with time, when most of the noobcav will either run out of money or simply stop it because it isn't be as easy as they thought though.

Well yeah, repairs will maybe kill 'em, but the problem is that once the nubs find just out how easy it is to score a bunch of kills as cav they'll probably stick with it :/

Cav is auto-regulating. That's the main difference with ranged. A ranged domination could have led to absolutely everyone being ranged. It doesn't work like that for cav though, because cav teamwork doesn't scale well at all. What I think will happen is a growing pike population that will keep the cav numbers manageable, but all this needs time to settle down. Although many of the noobcav probably get more kills now, they will find out soon enough that kills alone don't make a victory, and also that you are entitled to be more efficient than the random joes because you pay twice their upkeep or more. As cav it's very easy to rack up peasant kills. But that doesn't really help your team much.

The horse will lose his speed to if is wounded ( archers will take care of that )

And what if you lose 85% at the beginning of battle? Or after being teamhit? Fuck that kind of realism in GAME.

I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

Nerfing armor doesn't make killing people harder. Well, atleast when the said person you want to kill doesn't bounce on your own armor.

I think not many players will change to pikes, as this weapon doesn't really pay for anything. Three slots, unsheathable, unbalanced, can't stab through ground or fight on slopes at all, too much glancing and the goddamn shield bubble around the horse's chest/lower neck make it still an incredibly ungrateful choice. Some will try for a time, so you will always have a certain amount of them on the servers, but they will be bad (what else, with such a weapon?) and thus not make any difference.
