Is the range damage issue going to be fixed anytime soon?
Archers already had poor kill ratio pre-patch, but now you're just driving players away.

i used to be a dedicated arbalester, then i took a patch in the knee..

god damn, at least remove the shitty rain from premises.

This is the first time that meme was funny!

Seriously though, I'm not normally one to get on the forums and complain if my current play style is nerfed but, two slot Xbows were hit much too hard in this patch. I'm alright with the damage nerf but 2 slot Xbows need something in return to be effective. With the removal of ladders I don't get more than 6 bolts off during a round (with 140 wpf and MW Arbalest) and while I'm a pretty good shot, rarely missing, I can't just pull head shots out of my ass. I propose, as a measure of balance, to increase accuracy or decrease reload time (or both) of two slot Xbows. Also, please bring pikes and long spears back to 2 slots to combat the inadvertent(?) cavalry buff.

well I dont think Ac is the problem I think damage is, 2 slots 100 peirce cant kill anything 18k cost 1315 repair bill, Slow as hell reload time I think Everything was well balanced with the Arbalest PrePatch. The removal of ladders will make it harder to find a safe place to reload for 12 seconds. With the removal of ladders Arbalest is now balanced, With the Damage nerf the arbalest is a weapon that  shouldnt even be in the mod Not effective weapon anymore

    You forgot to add item_kinds1.txt to the list of files to update.  That's why we can't see bows in-game currently.

    I knew it! he is trying to remove all ranged game play from the mod! the first step was Make it were you shoot tooth picks at the enemy, second step was to remove the meshes! now all he has to do is remove them from the website and boom no more ranged  :cry:
