Dreams, and Nightmares; Find out the meaning!

I dream a lot, I bet you guys dream as well. :) Feel free to share yours here.

Most of the time I'm either dying, or having good things quickly turning into nightmares, I have horrible apocalyptic ones a long time ago. It drives me insane.

Here is the latest nightmare of mine.

So, you know it when you can control your dream totally right? You can move, talk, smell, interact, everything. I had this kind of dream three times last night. But on the third one, hell broke loose.

I was walking inside a building with nice people, looked like my old school.
But after like 30-40 seconds, everything became pitch black, I found myself in a void of nothing, I felt like something is going to happen, adrenaline is going up, heart is beating like hell. I hear some weird whispering, and I slowly turn around.. and when I turn back I saw a very weird Black figure standing before me. I'm telling you, dreams never scared me, BUT this figure scared the shit out of me, he tried to give a hand, but I heard torture sounds and women screaming from his direction, I turned away from him by instinct, I was cowering in fear, fell on my knees, every part of my body was shaking from the fear of.. I don't know I never felt this kind of fear before. It was horrible. Like death is coming for you..
The weird thing is, that this black figure wore my purple shirt, and the silhouette looked a bit like me. I don't know why..
Now the part where I totally went crazy was when I tried to wake up, I was in control of myself, I felt that this figure is getting veeeeery close, I tried to wake up but my eyes, I felt that my eyes won't open no matter what I do! After a minute, I instantly woke up at 4:30 AM, and was terrified.
What the hell was that?

I think the black figure was Korgoth, coming to get you.

In all seriousness, though, dreams that just won't let you wake up scare the shit out of me as well. But I don't read too much into them. There's tons of ways to interpret that one and if you want you can go with the explanation that you are afraid of yourself and those uberskills you have on teh battlefieldz of CRPG.

This is very rare for me to do, but I have to admit, I am very jealous of OP.

I love my dreams and everything, but such thrilling "nightmares" sadly don't happen to me as frequently as I would like. When they do happen, rather than cowering in fear, I view it as a fun adventure to test my skills. Those "nightmares" are the best dreams by far, so much better than lucid dreaming (boring, who wants to live in a world where they know what will happen next?) or sex dreams (it's better IRL).

Honestly, I wish such a nightmare would happen IRL. Apocalyptic scenarios are my greatest wish, that way I could rebuild the world to be so much better than it is now, and truly hail as God over it. But, one can only keep dreaming (hehe what a pun).

I haven't had a nightmare in years and years.  Had a great dream today I was riding around on a Victory Cruiser Motorcycle, it was fantastic.  Sweet dreams everyone. :D

Well Balton, it's the total opposite to me, I always dream about disasters and apocalyptic scenarios, from nuclear bombing to zombies, everything. Weird stuff.
The only explanation for this can be that I'm somehow interested in these situations, I like the stalker games and fallout for an example, but damn, these ones can get so realistic that I run for my life like I know I'll really die. But sometimes I can realize it's just a dream, because stupid an unrealistic things can happen, and the character I can "control" says with my voice that it's just a dream, but I still run lol.

Thank god I had no dreams, or didn't remember them this night.  :)

Damn bro, you don't even know how jealous I am, those are by far my favorite dreams. If I could somehow induce those dreams into myself every night, I would be the happiest man alive.

To those who want scarier nightmares I have a good tip. Sleep less and get hallucinations added to it.
Combine with anguish and you will get an even greater experience.

I have written an RPG (dice and paper) that I use a lot of my dreams for.  One of our players quit because of the nightmares it gave him

If I had to put them down on paper I don't think I could do them justice though.

If you enjoy the dream, then its clearly not a nightmare. Ive had some horrid fucked up dreams that leaves you shivering and paralyzed once you wake up.

Also had a nigthmare about mount and blade once=P
I was trying to command a siege attack, but noone would listen and just nubed around..Not really that scary but damn so frustrating

Loneliness

no sex

no proper erotic life

no plann of having childrens

Think about all those things that have done the humanity to get to this point : ( growing up, self-sufficiency, sex with a woman, sex with two or more womans, having childrens, build something, be part of something to build something to be able to feed the childrens that you have had with one/various womans ETC ETC )

People have different unconscious strenghness, so may be your genetic is pressuring you in that way to be a HUMAN like those that have work to put you in the world. Others people can do same stupid things like falling in love and shit like that.

SO, as your Doctor, I reccomend you:

First: Get a puppet. A baby cute one, feed him and give some love everyday.

Second one: Build something.Or just collect, whatever... comics, books or kiosk strange thing can do the work.

Third one: Do dirty sex, no problems if you have to paid for it, but if it is cheap it will do  fine work for our purposes. (dont forget precautions). Did I said dirty? yes I did.

Fourth one: Get one erotic partner to feel love and sleep together. Somebody who could need something from you , or that feel alone will do very nice work for this point.

Fifth and last: Repeat all steps for the fun. (But try to not end completely full of sexual transmision diseases living in a freaking zoo)

If you have done all of this and you still having nightmares maybe you need a really big change in your life, or in the way that you see life.

Also sports helps.

Good luck.

I dream that I am in a desertic city wearing the green camo of the canadian military and then I get shot right on the heart and die.

Well, I don't really since they wouldn't give green camo to people in the desert... right?
