No flights from Newcastle to Budapest, I may have been interested in this. Only flights seem to have 2 stops and are like £300.

Found some from Edinburgh for ~£200. How much are ticket for event and accommodation when you're there?

Last time we set up tents and it was free Except for a very small amount of entrance fee, it was an insignificant amount, something like 5-10 £ at most. This time, we are planning to rent a room near the event location, which is actually a huge empty field. I need to talk to Hentzi to get updates, I will let him know that you are also interested, or you send him a message on FB ;)

I'm cool with tents again, we can establish our own region and put up a "Great Khans" flag even

I have 2 weeks off in august, but no idea yet what to do. So this might be a good thing to go to.

I have talked with Hentzi, he is trying to reserve a room very close to the region. If that does not work, we will set up tents on the field. You can bring all your turkic/nomadic equipment as well, I'm gonna bring my bows and costumes

Hey Fru, now Hentzi is checking out an apartment to rent near the Bugac field ( where the actual thing is). The plan is, if those apartments are already booked up, we will set up camp on the field. The event is annual, its getting more and more participants every year. Every 2 years it's done in Hungary, Bugac. And every other year it's done in Kyrgyzstan. I think the year when we joined with Hentzi, there were about 150K people, either actively attending or just visiting. There are generally shows and historical re-enactments but I think there are also competitions aside. Check out the link http://kurultaj.hu/english/

If we are going to be together, I say we stay in tents and put up a GK flag as well, the good old one ;)
