Hello GK! What build would you recommend for a beginner? Chagan said to use high riding so I was thinking of this build:

7 Athletics or 5 Athletics and 2 Shield skill
7 Riding
3 wm
130 Polearm

just go with it, really there is not much difference in what you take, it all comes down to personal preference, high riding builds are more "new to the cav" players friendly in my expirience, and if your thinking about how much athletics/shield skill do like this, start with 0 ath see how it plays out for you, if your not happy on the ground with it, add 1 point, rinse and repeat till your happy with your movement on the ground, put the rest into a shield and keep using plain cav shield, when on the ground, you can use what i used to do to get rid of it, keep blocking with it till they destroy it, than you attack ;] usually your enemy will be so confident in spamming your shield that you will be able to put one hit into him once its destroyed ;] worked on a fair amount of players
