I think it should be for any level. Who agrees?

Also, they should change it from "Sacrifice ____ for his heirlooms." to his/hers. Why do they assume everybody is a he? It's the same with report system, but that's minor I suppose.

It should actually say his or her depending on gender, but seems like i got it wrong. The reason for low level requirement is to avoid alt giving heirlooms to high level main characters.

Why shouldn't they go to high levels? You worked just as hard for them, why does it matter?

Also, yes it should be his or her, but I just said his/her. It's not like that's the only grammatical mistake this mod has.

I've never played a server where people split up as much or as often as on EU1.  No wonder range is having a field day.

Agreed
Why can't high level people get looms?
You're putting actually less time (assuming your alt is lower gen than your main, due to less xp bonus) into grinding
You're earning the looms either way.

If you think that trying to keep more looms from high level players is going to balance the game, you're horribly mistaken. Looms aren't what they were in 2010.

[02:07] <@chadz> if you could sacrifice at any level, all the power gamers would never retire their main char any more
[02:07] <@chadz> and this is something we currently do not want
[02:08] <@chadz> everyone would have a main char that is just being used as a storage container and for strat battles
[02:08] <@chadz> might be a bit overexegerated
[02:08] <@chadz> but it goes in that direction
[02:09] <@chadz> we might find a solution for a one time transfer

I would love a one time transfer. I have +1 Bodkins and +1 [Some type of mail] Gloves on Miley_Mondaren, and I would love to transfer those to my main. I'm trying to get +3 Black Lamellar and +3 Leather Gloves. Getting money is very hard for me, so it would help a lot if I wouldn't have to pay so much because I'd have +2 already.

one time transfer would be nice,
being able to grind for more heirlooms would be nicer but i understand your rationale

Why not making it possible for at least one character for high lvl players?

I have an altchar with a loomed item, but I actually don't want to play this char anymore.

I have other chars with looms as well, but I want to keep them on these chars.

So can't you at least allow high lvl players to sacrifice one character?

I would love a 1 time transfer to main option. I have 2 alts, one with a +2 weapon and 1 with +1 war darts. I haven't played either of them for quite some time (or more than 30 minutes in the past few months). It's just rotting there now and I would love to be able to use them on my main.

The problem is even if you are number 1 in NA you are still only number 467 in EU or the worst in AUS(number 17)

you can if you retire your main :P. its a tradeoff. try to be the highest lvl possible and have no alt looms or be lower levels and get your alts looms. afaik the whole retirement system was to stop everyone being high lvl and new guys having no chance.

I think he is trying to avoid everyone in the game being lvl 33-35 ^^

Great when there finally is a loom transfer from alts to main it is for lvl 5 or lower ._.

Then why not just put the level cap at 31? I personally don't want to retire anymore, because it takes me SOOOOO long to get to level 30.
Not being able to get the heirlooms on my alts will most likely not change anything. Especially since I won't be able to make the +2 item on my alt +3.
