A far as I know the long voulge has been changed from 4 swing directions to two because of its high effectiveness versus cost in strat.  I would like to suggest giving the voulge 4 swing directions back,  and in return making it a lot more expensive in strat

just yes, even with 4 swing it's an almost unused wep in c-rpg, only in strat, why such a big nerf?

because of balance. its a nice weapon and i liked it very much too. but with 4 swing directions its pretty OP and unrealistic. it should stay a support weapon which is most useful in bigmelees as the most polearms are..

its op'ness (penis ^^)  wasnt reflected in its popularity though.  and it was slow enough to be au par at best with compareable weapons of slightly higher cost.  hell i could kill bars with a spiked club

Bump for relevance. You never see anyone use this weapon anymore. If you're going to leave it with only two attack directions, at least make it right and left swings instead of overhead/poke.

Bring back the toons axe as well. It's pretty much the same thing. Don't think we have enough greif with 7+ athletics characters with super long reach high damage weapons.
