I was wondering when we were due for another round of autoblocker bans.  I ran into a piker the other day who I am pretty sure was using autoblock -- wonder if I'll see him around anymore?  Punk.

Why wouldn't these be permanent bans?  Once a cheater always a cheater.  If it's not auto-block, they'll use a wall-hack/sprites, speed hacks, or aimbot. 

How can Gomer, or anyone else sit there and say they didn't know auto blockers weren't allowed?  Go fuck yourself, cheaters.

Also, can you publish the list of cheaters, so we know who likes to cheat?

If it makes you feel any better, people banned are rarely names you'll recognize.

I can vouch for Darkwulf. He was one of my admins and brought it to my light before I shared the details with Cmpx and Gash from ATS (Gash was managing the ATS servers in echo's stead while Echo was away for a time.). I advised Cmpx that my admins and myself would be utilizing the hack in the duel server to study for obvious tells such as the inability to block in any other direction then down while not being attacked (fix came out for this afterwards). Darkwulf is the first person that I know to bring the first publicly available autoblock to light for the NA community - He was an admin for the NA servers - He was using it only to study it to better administer the servers - He was utilizing it to learn and teach other admins while Cmpx was fully aware of the situation. Please reconsider this ban - Thank You.

In every other gaming community its zero tolerance for cheaters. Theres a difference between cheating and getting caught cheating..as soon as anyone is caught they should be given the boot. For every 1 guy you catch he could have done several other things that went undetected. All you do by giving second chances is teach people to not get caught, and it also encourages other people to cheat because they just get a slap on the wrist. There may be genuine idiots that just make a mistake and don't really use the cheat much, but you shouldn't take the risk imo

The mentality of it is sad too..a lot of these guys probably just didn't find the autoblock was worth using because they didn't like something about it, not that they shouldn't cheat in the first place. Anyone that does get caught should be banned straight away since you don't get many chances to catch people. It only detects 1 type of cheat too. People like this could use anything else to give themselves an advantage

The size of the community is a factor though. I think admins just don't want to risk banning too many people so will be a bit more lenient.
