Sunday Large Team Battle 15th of january - Results and Feedback.

I have several Ideas for the next "large battle". But I'm taking baby steps as coordinating these sort events is always more trouble that one should be expected.

@Jambi: Thank you for your input. However I must say that you put far too much into "boasting" rights and my personal bias. While I do intend to reach some sort of balance doing so perfectly is impossible. Your critisism has in other words been noted, as has that of others who have been kind enough to contacts me (from both sides argueing why their side is weaker). That I hear concerns from both teams actually makes me kind of confident that balance is not all that screwed. We'll see.

I'm officially stunned & disgusted to read this. I don't know who cried about balance but i certainly didn't, actually i think its quite good. Are all these people spineless or what ? Just take part in it, do your best and enjoy.

Tristan would it be possible to move the heaviest armor treshold to brigandine, its only 2 more body armor points and the bandit clan armor of choice, we wont be the same without it

P.S. Only dado and tepes have it loomed so its not about that, its just about the looks

Could i be one of the 10 players allowed to use an armor heavier than banded armor please? I'm asking not because i think i deserve it or something like that, just because my "personal" armor  (aka loomed  ) is heavier than banded armor.
I know there are thousands players better than me, BUT MY ARMOR IS MY ARMOR

The armour threshold should be Cuir Bouilli not Banded.  Both are brown so its more effort to check them if you stick the cut off in between them.

Use the Cuir Bouilli as the threshold and its just a quick glance to check that its under.  The next armour up is red which makes life much easier

I gave away my brigandine already, so no worries with that, i can be pretty unloomed as anyone 

And overall: stop bitching bout the teams, both of them are seemingly filled with nice clans, that are able to turn tides of battles. Gonna be fun, even tho i will lack the commanding from Ramses in our "hypersuperduper" team

+1 on this one, my personal armour is the Cuir boulli and as i am a noob i only currently have around 8000 gold and stare open mouthed at people buying loom points for 200k up

That's very kind of you but i'm a strong believer of an old saying, "give a man a match he can light a fire, set a man on fire hes warm for the rest of his life"... or its something along those lines anyway

What i'd really like to do is learn more about the strategus and the crafting aspect of this game which seems to be how most people get money. I have been looking into it today and it seems iv'e missed more than half of what this mod is about! This isn't the place to discuss that sort of thing though so thank you very much for your kind offer, but i like to try things on my own first

looking forward to this battle though and can hopefully not show myself up as too noobish.

Tristan, do we honestly have to pick a commander before today? Why is it so necessary to know the commander, as long as you can contact me about them team anyway?

It ain't. It is only so I am sure each team has a commander and actually has thought about eq restrictions.
