Problems with selecting a main character

For some odd reason, when I put in my password (correctly, yes, I've checked multiple times), it'll ask if I was totally sure I wanted to select "Jsk2003_of_Reddit" as my main character. I'd click yes, and then nothing would happen, and red text at the top saying "Please enter your correct password for confirmation." would appear next to the character selection box.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Hmm, i checked - it's not an alt and your only char.

So the only problem i could imagine is the password being wrong.
In case you do auto login, please try to change your password in the settings tab.

If that works just retry to make it main.

In case the password change also fails i would say go ingame, reset your password by doing Q M P and confirming with S while being on an official server.
Repeat until a red text with your login/password pops.

After that log in with it and try to make it main again.
Also make sure you change the password to something else again afterwards.
