The only thing a crippled 13 shield build might be able to do is forcing a draw in battle or maybe standing on the gate wrench in siege.

I think it's a bit of an issue for CTF actually, otherwise... meh.

Also met one of theese fucks once, all he did was backpedal with his shield up until it was a draw.(did not try to attack once)

Naa, i have tested this with shieldskill 13 and steel shield. It does not help against the common mauler. Ok, it works for a mallet and sometimes against agi 2hander, which have found a maul on the battlefield.

I've done it. Used the map to my advantage, forcing him to stafe at one point, and then it was a one-hit with kickslash.

He can hurt you with 1 PS and a Masterwork Steel Pick. He can also have 6 AGI at level 31. Really, it should not be possible to reach 100% damage reduction ever.

Most 13 shielders I've met (and that was rare as hell), were down in one, mostly two hits.

Either they get hit via an opening or get cornered.

Quite a lols/gimp build, I'd say there are other stuff that needs to be taken care of.

Leave it the fuck alone.There are few who have such a character and even fewer who use it regularly.

They cant pick good weapons, they cant have much else skills and they are easily killed with a few tricks(I mean, whats he gonna do if you charge for him, Fight you?Please, he cant even hurt most people with the kind of strength he has).Its only for fucking around a bit.

I don't see any reason for a shield to have more than 100% resistance.
