The thing is that the people who love this old cRPG are those who played more then average, thus having a big lvl/power advantage and had fun owning people of same/comparable skill but without the gear/lvls.

So yeah, it was unbalanced and those on the "up" side of it enjoyed it.
The rest didnt.

nah,  i joined the party when all the op monsters were roaming,  and i just loved it.  felt like killing a dragon if an ugly bastard,  finn or olwen got killed.  not to mention to successfully kill one of them über archers

this... is a good feeling. I remember the first time as a peasant knocking down SUPERBEAST or UNCLE BOB ... it felt like an achievement.

Have Fun Guys. I played for 10 minutes. Saw archers shooting an arrow every 1 second. People spamming throw wpf and killing me with rocks. This wasn't fun a year ago and it isn't fun now. I'll see you guys in EU_cRPG_1

Nah that was last night lol. I was talking about just now. It was some DRZ guy shooting really fast. Ofcourse not as fast as you but it was still fast.

I'd rather not waste my time grinding a character that will get deleted in a month anyway.

Not played yet, my predication - now when all people know how to block, normal weapons will be useless and everybody will start using that op crushthrough quick weapons.
Hope that many archers will love xmas crpg => so battles in real crpg will be fun again.  :D
