I just have to say this... you keep repeating "our cultures are different - here, it's an insult". Well, I talked to different people at my University, some from Turkey, some from Iran, some from Iraq and there is even one guy who is Imam at a local Moshee in my hometown. Guess what, they all said that you're talking bullshit except if you're some Anatolian peasant and/or some of those retarded fanatics.
They all agree on "saying that a woman - promised to someone else
considered friend or well-known - is good-looking, is in no way insulting. It's just considered as a compliment to the woman for the appearance and for the man, basicly congratulating for the wise choice."
Well, those people are at a University so they have to be intelligent and smart at least to a certain point. I really come to think that this part is the actually lacking one on your side.
At least I won't write anything to you anymore after this post, except provoked.
And you should keep in mind that attacking any of us will lead to all of us reacting to it. So, saying "I only want to insult Gnjus" isn't working. You insult him, you insult all of us. Please... no, really... PLEASE... keep that in mind!
