First of all - let me tell you a little story. A true story, it really happened today. I was going for a bike ride with a friend of mine and we stopped by at the bookmaker's office so he can place his bet. I waited outside with the bikes. Two women were walking down the street and they stopped at me and asked me if they can tell me something. I said "Well yes, depending on what you have to say". They told me that they are from the nearby church and they want to give me some love, free of charge, no cost. I smiled and said "Nice." They said that they are giving me their love just as God gave it to them. They used to be sinners but God has found them and brought them into his church and now they are walking around spreading love to other people. One of them did a mimic move with her hands and "gave" me her love like you give someone an object, you know. I said "Nice, thx" and then one of them (the older one) introduced herself, we shook hands and she said her name is Slavica, roughly translated to English: Gloria. After that we split and i went on with my bike ride. My friend and I made fun of it, naturally, but after i got back home i gave it a second thought and i realized - that's it. Love. That's what we need to do. We should be spreading love around without any cost.
I have played this mod for too long now and many of you know that i often call other people names, bad names, ugly names, words that are not decent at all. There are lots of morons, retards & imbeciles playing this game and i tell them what they are in a bad way, I admit. Yes, they ARE morons, retards & imbeciles but they need love, not hatred......love is what they lack, some of them will never get to feel it in their real lives and the last thing they need while playing this game is to have some old frustrated fart calling them names. That is why i decided to spread the love for a change. What better way of doing it then be dressed in a pink outfit with some bear & stars on it ?
Lately the mod is a bit of a stalemate, half of our members are not active, its the same for all the other clans, lots of people not taking part in Strategos, etc, etc. I for one (and the lads know it very well) was convinced something big will happen, some great positive changes and all that, its the main reason we chose a serious roleplay and we created this awesome group of people playing together, for a new vastly improved Strat without game-breaking bugs & cheaters, multiaccounters and all that crap that ruins it but unfortunately it didn't happen. We're waiting for too long now and the only thing left to do is play battle servers for fun while on TS and troll people around (with sticking to the game rules ofc, we've had some disciplinary problems lately but it's all solved now i hope, everyone knows that despite all my flaws i always insist on sticking to the rules). There is 8 men in our Skype group (9 with myself), veterans of the clan who have been here the longest. They all agree that we need some changes, refreshments, whatever. That's why we (well they actually, i gave it to a fair vote and it passed with most of the votes) decided that we're going back to spreading the love as my old friends. Why my old friend's you ask ? Well not because of me and my cult personality, they know i don't really like it that much, but because most of them say those times were the best for us. Best atmosphere, best fun, best looking outfit. Best of the best. Pure fun.
Now comes the nasty part: Bandits have a lot of members. Not all voted on this. You guys know that i love you all, you are my children and i never regretted a single recruit (well except Panagiotis maybe
) but I've realized this as well: maybe you don't want my love anymore ? Or it's simply isn't enough for you ? You want something more, to see the world, to explore it on your own ? Now is your chance. I would never ask of you to follow me in my mission of spreading the love around for free if you didn't want it with all your heart. This is the moment when you people will make your call: every single Bandit is free to leave at this moment, you don't have to be a my old friend and no one will hold it against you if you decide to leave. This will filter some people out probably, maybe it's good for us all, maybe some people are fed up with me and want a change but don't want to actually leave or quit or whatever. Feel free to do it now.
What is it that i expect from all the future my old friends ? Love in the first place, lots of true unsuppressed love that you will be giving to other people (probably from behind but still). Also - we need to become better persons starting from myself. I need to cut down the rage & insults, I need to forgive everyone who did anything wrong to Bandits and I need to ask forgiveness to all that i insulted. I also need to forgive Idzo for the latest "action", the same as he needs to forgive me for my harsh reaction to the incident. Prpavi needs to forgive Leshma for stalking & trashtalking him while Leshma needs to get a grip, to cut it short: we all need to forgive each other the bad things that have happened between us and make sure it never happens again. This new stuff will not be a revolution, we probably won't have a lot of people participating but i want a healthy atmosphere on TS (as it always was) and STICKING TO THE GAME RULES, don't argue with people, don't teamhit & teamkill, don't troll too much, don't do racism & shit like that. Leave sinful conversations for the safety of the teamspeak walls where we can help you out, lead you onto the right way, help you find the light. You guys know that I'm not that strict at all, there is no "requirements" around here, I don't give out orders as if we were in the army, i respect all the members (even Bruno the Brainfart) but there is just this minimum effort that i asked, actually begged you to stick with: Don't give admins silly reasons to ban you, they're just waiting for it. Other people get warnings, kicks, 1 hour bans, 3 hour bans but Bandits get a 24 Hour ban straight away. Do we really want to act like imbeciles and give 'em the pleasure ? Can't you have your fun without it ? This goes especially for Pancake but some other people should also think about it.
There is lots of things that i wanted to write down here but i forgot a good part of it. All the details about banner & clan tag will be solved in the next few days, as for the names: no need for extensions anymore, first name is enough without any dubious additions (my old friend_Name without "the_Something" part). I would like every Bandit to PM me about his decision so we don't spam this thread with that too much.
In the end i can only say this - those of you who decide to leave have my gratitude for joining us and having a good fun, they gave their contribution to it and there is absolutely no hard feelings towards anyone. Those of you who decide stick with us and share the love feel free to prepare your heraldic armors cause you will be needing 'em these days:
