CONSTANT repairs since patch

Wow... just patched.  lvl 23 horse archer.  TEN STINKING rounds of full repairs........................    really.  As is this rate... the game is more and more about working than playing.  Fix this please...................       : /

Got off to do this post and got back on an alt (1h/Shielder)... thought maybe itd stop...  2 more rounds of full repairs..........................  does not make you want to play this game when u can't just enjoy it.

Tried again:  one round of HALF repairs... and another round of FULL Repairs.... will this ever stop?

Ok.  Tried again.... this is just too much to put up with.  I'm losing money like mad.  Fix this stupid patch please.  I do not intend to be reduced to peasant status.  Its hard enough to run with mediocre gear as is.  I can't play this game right now.... thanks.

You don't pay repairs below gen1 level25. Clearly you must be mistaken...?

No sir.  My main is fine, but when i get on alts... its  been real heavy constant (9 of 10 rounds) full repairs.  Either this is some freaky bad luck or its a real bug.  I don't know.

The alts I played are gen 1 and low 20s.  I respec-ed them from lvl 27 or 28 trying diff builds.  Still, they aren't rich anyway, and what little money I have won't last at this rate even with garbage gear.  Repairs are definitely active.  OVER active.

I believe when you respec now you start paying upkeep.

I know about the upkeep change.  This isnt it.

Tried again.  Upkeep is still heavier than normal.  Very regular, but not full repairs like before.  Im down to wearing trash gear just to avoid costs (just my weapon & shield mid ranged, but it keeps hitting them like its an evil AI beast).

Dunno... it seems like its still pretty high and regular compared to before.  Tried diff alts and its like every other round 1/3 to half my gear repairs.

And tried the first character this happened on, my HA.  Getting a lot of half to full repairs on him still.... very wierd.  Not every round, but every 2 or 3 rounds.  Way more than usual still.

I must admit, I have the same feeling. 2 or 3 weeks ago I was making money - not much, but it did increase over time, when since like a week or two I have a lot repairs on each round. Some gear like gauntlet and Light Kuyak break almost every round. And there are many rounds where I have to repair 3-5 items at the same time. I actually loose money now with 100% the same gear.

It might of course be just bad luck...

Yeah.  Started plaing my main again tonight.  Seems like every round somethign breaks... usually the most expensive items.  Doesn't feel random, feels targeted now.  With trash gear... breaking even.  Sad.  Not enjoyable.


Played for an hour.  Its just... stupid.  Its like the more you wear the more likely you are to get full repairs.  But if i wear trash or nothing, then just one thing repairs... the loomed weapon (of course, almost every time).   Somethings definitely wacked on this patch.  Something must have been affect so that higher gear gets even more chance of repair.  Im just gettn off for tonight.  Usually I play for hours yet.  Not worth playing like this.  I play to fight, not to have a night job trying to eek out a few pennies to pay for 30 seconds of power play.

Well, I've had my German Greatsword repaired quite often last night too.. I'm still not sure whether this is bad luck or what.

I'm experiencing the same thing. My armour repairs at similar to previous rates, but im repairing my sword every other round ( Danish Greatsword ) irregardless of winning/dieing/loosing

I played a few hours yesterday and I lost a few thousand gold due to repairs. There where several rounds where I had to repair 5 or 6 items at once, thats almost all my gear! I did have x5 for a few rounds but that doesn't compensate the huge repairs. And I had almost no round without repair. For me it's mainly the armour which gets repaired (Scale gauntlets and Light Kuyak)
