Raven_ Banning on NA_ duel server Need Admin

Just letting maybe an admin know, there are like 2 guys from Raven_ clan on Na_duel server banning people when they get on. I did not have time to see there names, but since there are 2 of them voting to ban there is nothing u can do to stay on. just thought i should tell somebody since i cant duel right now from being banned.

Yes I'd say it warrants a thread.  The duel server is also the Strategus server.  I'm wondering if these banned people will be able to log onto any Strat battles until the ban wears off.  Also, I don't think admins can undo vote-bans.  Not sure when this happened or what battles were coming up but they may have been intentionally sabotaging strat.


Permanent global ban (essay ban, absolute minimum) for the two doing it, IMO, and a blanket warning for RAVEN.

Agree with the punishment except for the blanket warning. If there's anything I've learned in life, it's that blaming a group of people for individual (or in this case a pair) actions only pisses innocent people off.

I didn't mean me, actually. I was one of the people who was giving the blanket punishments. Then I wised up, however.

Too bad there's no screens or chat logs to figure out which two it was.

What's more is the fact that this was posted in an inappropriate forum. You want this thread in the future when it comes to reporting players or other admins. http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/board,63.0.html Posting screenshots of anything showing the ban, even the chat logs would be extremely useful in the future. Otherwise, it's hard for us to act on it one way or the other.


Also, I'm not sure who these Raven guys are. Bacon, are they one of your alts? if so, care to give your side of the story?

Raven are an EU clan. Never seen them do anything like this before though.

I figured that might be the case. Unfortunately without screening or names provided, theres not much anyone can do in the way of pursuing action against them. (why do regular EU admins other than Devs have admin on NA servers again?)

Might have been poll bans karmy.  I hear about this happening alot early mornings, mostly its in DTV or siege.  2 people get on to mess around and if anyone joins the server they just poll ban them so they have the server to themselves.   (it also seems to always be EUs)

Are you really wanting to get this people stop that , or are you just willing to give raven bad reputation?
