Polearm/Xbow support build

Level 31 is closer and closer and I'm thinking about changing my playstyle a bit. I enjoy xbowing people, so far I've been using sniper xbow with heavy bastard when things get physical, not doing great, not doing horribly (usually). What I have in mind now is being more support oriented, changing 2h to polearms and sniper xbow to light xbow. My plan is to run behind our shielders and 2handers, shooting anything that approaches them, thanks to the fast reload speed hopefully several times, and then switch to pike and poke them for the win! Obviously, I have no idea how would that work, might be forced to grab warspear or something to defend myself when I find myself alone against someone.
Aynway, here's the build I have in mind.

Level 30

Strength: 15
Agility: 24
Hit points: 50
Converted: 8
Ironflesh: 0
Power Strike: 5
Shield: 2
Athletics: 8
Riding: 0
Horse Archery: 0
Power Draw: 0
Power Throw: 0
Weapon Master: 8
One Handed: 1
Two Handed: 1
Polearm: 91 (113)
Archery: 1
Crossbow: 160 (150)
Throwing: 1

I defintly want xbow be the main focus, so at least 150 in xbows is minimum, no matter what you say to me ^^ Also, at least couple of points in shield so I can grab at least plain board one to close gaps when there is too many throwers around. The other option I'm considering is 18/21 for bit more melee power. BUT, I'm open to suggestion of course, otherwise I wouldn't be posting here :) So, what do you think?

You should already know what i think. Support xbower? Get my horse crossbowman build, it sucks in closed cities etc, but on open fields i can ride away from enemy even on palfrey. Just posting build again:

Mhm. Sure. HA. I prefer HC [Horse Crossbowman], because i am more accurate while riding a horse with full speed (5 HA skill) but i have not same great accuracy as bows, because width of reticule isnt that small, however i cannot get better reticule (above 160 wpf it doesnt increase accuracy in any way, maybe only shot speed, but not sure).

Build:

Level 30 (4 420 577 xp)

Strength: 7
Agility: 30
Hit points: 42
Converted: 4
Ironflesh: 0
Power Strike: 2
Shield: 0
Athletics: 0
Riding: 10
Horse Archery: 5
Power Draw: 0
Power Throw: 0
Weapon Master: 10
One Handed: 1
Two Handed: 1
Polearm: 137
Archery: 1
Crossbow: 160
Throwing: 1

Even some PS. And a lot of wpf in polearms/1h (only these two because 2handers require a lot of str and you only have 7).

Or in my build you can sacrifice 2 points in riding or 1 point in riding 1 point in WM for 1 additional str point, which is very important, if weapon you want to use from horseback/ground require 8 str, not 7.

I use lance/shortened spear/war spear (depending on what i like current day) with 0 ps (will be 2 on lvl 30) and 80 wpf atm. Guess what: it works to kill enemy horse archers, and with rest i can easly deal - just ride away with your 9 riding skill on palfrey/courser. On palfrey i can easly be faster than regular courser users with 5-6 riding skill. On courser... i am damn fast.

And of course, just to remind: using light crossbow.

HOWEVER

your build is good if you want to be on foot. And light xbow is nice, fast reload, and with 24 agi/5ps/8athletics you will be swinging fast enough with weapons such as Long Hafted Blade.

I'm doing exatly the same as you. Since I have this build, I'm doing fine. In open maps, I'm a Cav. In range maps, I use my crossbow. In close combat maps, I use my polearm

Pros : 120 xbow is fairly accurate.
          133 polearm is enough fast
You have 5 IF and 5 PS for close combat
          7 athletics to run fast
1 in shield if you are tired of archers
          You can use a courser

Cons : You can't snipe enemy players across the map with your xbow......

Level 30 (4 420 577 xp)

Strength: 15
Agility: 21
Hit points: 60
Converted: 2
Ironflesh: 5
Power Strike: 5
Shield: 1
Athletics: 7
Riding: 4
Horse Archery: 0
Power Draw: 0
Power Throw: 0
Weapon Master: 7
One Handed: 1
Two Handed: 1
Polearm: 133
Archery: 1
Crossbow: 120
Throwing: 1

@ Dravic - I've already been HA with xbow my first gen, been fun but I sucked at it. Also, I prefer footman style of play, don't wanna a gimp build where when dehorsed I'd be just walking target. So that's a no to HA.

@ Monin - Hmm, I haven't really considered riding for lancing. As I said though, I enjoy footman role. I might bother to create an alt with this build to test it out, if i enjoy the playstyle.
