Used to play that grindfest bad bad bad bad bad

Me & my friends all had the top shit, etc. etc. Is-7, maus, whatever. Boring though.
Way too much camping so the average game will be 10 minutes waiting for the teams to finally fight for less than a minute, OR, you can go suicide earlier/etc/etc/etc.

+game is most fun at low tiers, just roll around tier 1 - 5 if you are going to play it.
Also, I have declared myself #1 NA hybrid thrower
Formerly known as Marathon.
As an NA admin, I am the most laid back and concerned with the ~fun of the game~ above all other factors. I've also been super inactive since Summer 2012. University takes most of my time, but I still find some time to play when i can.

The game feels similar to cRPG.  It's also fun like Warband so i don't consider a fun game to be a grind.  Grinding is pressing F2 30 times in a row to kill 10 wolves :)

I have 2 accounts : Minhelm and Mtemtko , the first has Tiger II elite and the second has RAM,T14,T2 light,Su8(6x crew at 150% around 1.5mil worth modules)leopard,sherman,Su26 and a su 152.
Minhelm has T44 unlocked and a maus.. but cant afford up upkeep em :/, and T44 blows up with every shot that pierces it. (ammo rack).
There are like 3-5 other mercs that might play when it releases :P

I also play this game, but I only have a STUGIII, and Wespe.

And the JagdPZIV, but I don't care about it, in a few days I'll lose them anyway.

Nice game etc
But it feels more like "wait for red lines then shoot at it"
(enemy tanks get spotted on map etc and are highlighted with red outline things)
So you don't really sneak up and watch the environment with sharp eyes etc.
You just stand somewhere and wait for red outlining to appear and shoot at it..boring kinda.

If you don't like staying back, go light/medium, then you can sneak on enemy artillery/campers/whatever.

As a TD/Arty driver I stay back and support my team while they scout targets for me, so I can help them out.
It comes up to your preference.

It's not about the gamestyle of camping(tactical waiting). It's about the spotting gameplay that i described. It really ruins the game imo.
I mean tank battles like in the "forgotten hope" mods for Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2 if you played it

I use every type of tank

I've gotten my whole gaming store into the game. Everyone here is blowing up tanks now.

I actually really enjoy the spotting mechanics. I think needing the rest of your team to act as your eyes at long ranges adds a lot to teamwork. If I knew exactly where everyone was at all times I would only ever play Artillery. I had some great rounds the other day with two of my friends. We were 2 artillery and a KV. When we had balanced teams, the KV acted as our spotter and would survive plenty of hits while we rained down on whoever was shooting him. It worked well, and we had lots of fun.
