I just think it would be great if the big clans that have a solid base didn't lock up so much.

Its just a bit of a shame. And it makes it hard to pull mercs for battles if your not in one of those clans.

I have an excellent pool of awesome players with ATS, HATE and Hosp but its kind of hard to martial them. On the defensive the 24 hours window makes it pretty hard to pull guys.

Being a loner means everytime I have a battle coming up I have to run a presidential campagn, kissing babies and spamming every chat channle I can find.

I sent about 40 pms before the last battle to get my mercs. Spent about 5 hours charging around the forums.

You raided several members of a larger faction. Why would you expect nothing to happen?

Also "...expect nothing to happen?" isn't even what I'm going on about man! of course I expected a reaction and I got it. I got a small amount of fun out the game. Huzzah, I cocked up though TBH, there was no way in hell Tom was going to catch me, but I wan't to turn a corner and logged off and forgot about it...

I'm not trying to have a cry about loosing, it isn't a "strat is lame, care bears r poo" whinge. All I'm trying to say is, I feel like it would be more fun if LLJK, TKN and Chaos were duking it out. I beleive it would be more fun because their would be more going on. More opertunities for mayhem, more in strat mercing.

At the moment the choice is join LLJK or float about the fringe. I can't merc for clans that are at war in the NA territory because no one is really at war. All the information I gathered about troop numbers and movement of TKN and LLJK forces is just uselss data. I can't sell it to anyone because no one could possibly find it usefull because no one is really a threat to any of the big clans, it also seems like they aren't even trying to be.

So what I am trying to say in a sentence is, it would be great if there was a bit of biffo between the big boys so the rest of us had more  to do.

Strat is medieval political sim. Treat it right and it will treat you right. Win or loose there will always be a reset in the not so near future. There is no end in strat only new beginnings. Embrace death!
