Long spear on horse?

So this is a question...

I read in Long Spears description "cant use on horseback".

But during the game I at some point went on a horse and saw that I could use it normally...

I know that other weapons that have that tag cant actually be used (for example my danish greatsword wont come to my hands when on my destrier) but not sure whats the case here...

Is it a bug? Was it a sneaky change or what?

Thats bannable bug, if u use long spear on horse, u will be banned

I mean I am a new player with a gen 1 character and I havent seen it in the server rules, game rules, mod rules etc...

Not just for me but for other new people it could help...

It's bannable, RandomDude is your factions leader, he's an EU admin so if you want more proof ask him.

Im not sure it is or isnt... but a lot of cRPG rules are not written down.

Its like the cRPG gameplay, there is no manual; you gotta learn on spot or under some knowledgeable masters.

Long spear is longer than all lances so you could pown every lancer with it (except if you really suck), thats why.

Its a glitch that unfortunately the devs have not corrected yet.  It falls under the glitching rule, and the common sense rule.

While it is a bannable offense, we will warn you at least once or twice before smacking you with the firey banhammer of doom.

If you accidentally spawn with both a horse and a longspear/pike either dismount or drop the pike.

Thats bannable bug, if u use long spear on horse, u will be banned

  He speaks the truth, I didnt know you could do it, spawned in for 30 seconds, had enough time to say "wtf is this" and got banned.

This is probably a very very stupid question... but why don't they add a flag on the long spear's stats to make it unusable on horseback!?!?!?!! Unless CMP and chadz are trying to find a sneaky cool way to WSE the long spear so you can couch it on foot from a stationary position so that it instakills anyone who touches it.

The longspear glitch is still there?

Lol, I remember getting that glitch for a round when slots were implemented.

Everyone was wtfraging at me, and I thought I equipped my lance, didn't even realize.


I switched the next round obviously.

It already has this flag but there are still some ways to use it on horse... had that once by mistake.
