-remove 40 degree lance limit
-buff shield
-give 2+ speed overall to 1h
-smaller sweetspot/later in animation

I agree.

Also remove slots and unsheatable tag.

All horrible changes.

Yeah, either make WSE useful or simly remove it. Eariler active attacks is the worst idea ever.

Seems to me that, when we draw the line, we had a year full of bad dev decisions.

Eariler active attacks is the worst idea ever.

Yeah, it increased the spam. Maybe it also did some good, but I can't see where, at the moment. The hiltslashing going on at the moment is the most ridiculous and annoying shit that has ever happened in this game, even the era of oober-throwers was less annoying.

Think lancing and 1h speed are fine, why change it?

Also how is hiltslashing op? Only 5% of the people know how to do it properly and even then its still piss easy to counter (block or move in the right direction)

Lancing isn't fine it's boring. It used to be fun without silly lance angle reduction. But it wasn't realistic :rolleyes:

One handers are a bit UP, especially agi builds.

Hiltslashing is stupid.

I don't know, i do just fine as 1h+Shield with 15-24 build with just Italian Sword. Sure, i have trouble killing tincans, but i usually am on the first spot of scoreboard so i deal with it.

I don't know, i do just fine as 1h+Shield with 15-24 build with just Italian Sword. Sure, i have trouble killing tincans, but i usually am on the first spot of scoreboard so i deal with it.

The same for me. My direct strikes (+3 elite scimi and 6 PS) starts bouncing when I face (probably heirloomed) transitional armor. But holded ones usually do the trick, even though I have to do simple attacks from time to time, otherwise I'm too predictable.

So I tend to avoid tincans. I'm a shielder anyway, I have better things to do like helplessly trying to catch archers butterflies.

Shields need a buff. Right....NOW!
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

WSE lancing FFS. Different lances need different arcs, massive 190 degree arc for the double sided and then pull it in from there, light, lance then heavy. DO IT!

How is blocking a counter to anything? You have to be able to attack back to counter something. Also, not everyone is a ninja that can just loljump away while slashing at the hiltslashers head.

Also, if you have a shield you can't block instantly as you can without a shield. This means if you spot that he's hiltslashing between the hits, you wont have enough time to put the shield up again.

TL;DR Buff shields.

The only thing i can agree is a buff to shields but not to 1h weapons itself.
And the only buff i could see working is making shield weight having less impact on runspeed.

:/ While I would like to fix the sweetspots on the 1h weapons, I can see why you say so and agree with it. And saving shields is more important anyway, as running around without a shield is currently just as good, some say even better, than running with one. The impact on running speed is the main problem.
