cRPGLauncher.exe trouble? post here!

I cannot use the launcher. I am on a mac using crossover (dont say get a pc, i know you want to), and the launcher does not work Is there any folder it has to be in or something particular?

It stills says i am running version 2.40 when i go on warband in steam. What do i do????

Launcher downloads fine all the way to the end then says ERROR cannot find warband.exe etc

then i look and its trying to install itself to a folder C:\programfiles etc etc \mountandbladewarband

any idea/reason thats its making its own folder in the program files instead of installing itself to the steam apps?

i got that error as well kesh. I put the launcher exe in the mod folder and shortcut that launcher to the desktop and it worked for me. I tried again a little while ago and got the same error that earth got about out of space or something.

I t was doing that to me until I saved it and then ran it, rather than ran from the download and also selected the Repair option.

It crashes,and then i have two options - Debug and close program,both of them do nothing :/

The tings i try:

Just download it, click play, then update new version. Fail
Download it, click repair. Fail
Download it, put it into mod folder, and try play, and repair. Fail.
The same thing again, but try to make a shutcut. Fail
I try to run it as admin also, but the same thing happens. Im not very happy, but also all new things have some fail you know, but i just like to play :-(

What's your OS? Windows XP?

Probably you have a leftover non-Steam installation. Just place the launcher in your real Warband directory and start it from there.

Thank you, it did the trick (at least now it runs). Now it crashes at this point. Any ideas?
