Could say the same thing about cavalry. Moreso, really. It sucks when your team has 2 cav players and the enemy team ends up with 20. Sometimes autobalance just ends up sucking like that. Whaddya-gonna-do.
Really the problem is too many infantry try to super-specialize. They'll run around with a specialty weapon, have absolutely no ability against cavalry or archers and they'll get owned. Had they just brought a long spear, or even a lengthy two-hand sword, or some throwing daggers, they could have at least put up a fight. Instead they're running around with a bec and 160 wpf and then posting to the forums about how archers and cavalry are op.
