I would suggest you to change that points forumula a bit. It would be better if it is based on points you got at the tournament.
It is more accurate because it shows more your teams overall performance. It is a difference when you lose 0/5 or 4/5 and it is more fair
when it is shown at the ladder. Of course i would give some point bonus for first three winning teams or for every position.

For example we had 8 points at last tournament and ninjas had 9 in our group. We ended up as last and they are 5th. They got 4 times more points than us.

My point is to make some system which can show your performance on the tournament and not just the place you ended at.
Everyone must admit that it is a great difference when you end last with 8 points or 0 points.

Overall performance (difference in kills/deaths lets say) will not be reflected into LPs. Its like you'd want to reflect driving style in Formula 1 into how many points the drivers get in the end. You had really great driving style, but in the end you always lost closely all the matches - thats the reason why you finished the last one.

The problem was that the system of tournament just benefited wining to much over loosing closely. Its not right or wrong, it was just how the system was set up. But dw, after the previous tournament I already decided that winning will not be benefited so much for the next tourney. So most likely your "driving style" will give you higher position in the end of the upcoming tournament.

The idea of LPs being affected by K:D is not bad for the first glance, but I really don't want this to matter for LPs. I want people to fight to win - thats what the fighting is for. And not speculate how to loose closely or not get killed to get higher in the ladder.

updated ladder after the finished 2nd tournament, still going with LPS not considering the ammount of tournaments attended. when there are like 3 or more finished i will consider adjusting the LPs formula

Could you please add a LPTS/TA column, so you can differ easier between the good and the active as soon as the TA numbers get higher?

there will be some adjustments for sure. maybe this column would solve the job completely... or maybe there could be 2 ladders also - activity one and some weighted one. or adjusted LPs count - but i start to dislike this option thinking of recounting 5 tournaments for 12 clans later on always once new tourney ends. will have to think about it.
