Question

If you can't attack with long weapon in tight places, why you still can block?
This just killing short weapons as class. No one uses daggers and other fun short enough back-up weapons.

Don't you think that it's silly, when long weapon is better in any kind of battle situation?
Or you just like this, because it make your game easy?

Longer weapons are not neccessarily better than short ones in tight corridors (like castles) or group gangbangs. Shit gets stuck on every possible thing now when attacking, but you want to take block away from those weapons too, making them completely useless in close combat?

only if huscarls get stuck in doors so they cant enter rooms anymore ;)
Its totally unrealistic that someone should be able to enter a room with a 3m radius roundtable.

You bring up a legimate respectively a weak point of the warband combat system in general: there is no close combat. In a real battle there will be situations where you grab each others neck, and the use of daggers  and the like would be necessary.

However its difficult to implement such mechanics properly in this (and any other) combat enginge and definitely impossible for mods. And the suggestion of disabling block in tight places will lead to much problems and would be only very artificial implementation of close combat.

Yeah. Cause it's totally reasonable that people can move through someone with a shield. But we also need to make shields unable to move through others!

Also:

This pretty much explains it. Although I personally would LOVE to make the weapons DIFFERENT! All the weapons are so similar in how they are used.

Oh, and to the people who think long 2handers hit objects a lot. Bitch, please. Try out one of the long 1handed swords. Because of the animations, they get stuck much more on the stuff around. Try to be sensible. Although poles still have it the worst with this...
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

I think you should go into a tight closet and try to poke yourself in the eye.

Thank you boy, but I prefer something real, instead your wet juvenile dreams.

I do not know how collision system works, but I'm sure that Flamberge and LHB\Glaive still too effective in castle corridors.
