Small caravan attacked by USA tyrants

As a complete nobody, I have little to pay, but will split the available gold for the defenders, who will be outfitted with the finest noob gear available. My thanks to any men-at-arms who come to the aid of the innocent.

Dorlando flatly denies those baseless allegations. All this caravan traffics in is small quantities of bear meat.

rummaging through the wagon, I find orders of magnitude less crpg gold than you require. I do have about 100 strat gold to be split among the A-Team (mostly to build the killdozer). Obviously it won't be needed for them if such a humble amount would suffice.

Could someone point me to a thread that describes how to distribute the payment to the mercenaries?

Pretty sure the only way is to be near them on the strat map and use the "transfer" option

I can see why they do it.  You need to be close to transfer everything else, just be glad you don't have to be near someone to fight in the battle

I believe if you were allowed to transfer gold to people who fought in your battle who were halfway across the world safe and secure in a village, then you would be able to have your gold get taken from a secondary army who's just waiting for you to finish your current battle.

There should be an option to send money in the strategus page under action page -> battles (at least with eye candy its there). I don't know if it works though.
