Last strat I had some issues with the 22nd-style diplomatic enterprise, as well. Excluding the actual details of what happened, upon my requesting a meeting to discuss some of what Plazek had told me through PMs, he kindly told me not to worry about it because there was nothing to discuss, and just to play using his rules.

From my perspective, they don't have a whole lot of room to cop an attitude about proper diplomacy and open communications.

No comment on the rest of the current situation, but Buillin got crushed by Grey Order much more than it did by 22nd, the way I saw it, 22nd merely initiated the attack and held the claim.

Yea big shock that your plan of pushing our vassal out of their fiefs was non negotiable. 
Real surprising that we were not interested in more negotiation with you after the one TS meeting we had ended with your guy simply making threats regarding the safety of the Ninja clan. 

There was nothing to discuss because all you wanted was to push out our allies and vassal the Ninja, and that just weren't gonna fly.

Yes, heaven forbid I would want to speak with you personally, leader to leader, to clear up any miscommunication about something like that. Once they'd taken it, we were hands-off about Kwynn. We didn't want to push them out, that was your assumption based on what someone acting as our diplomat had said pretty much the third day of strat, before we knew who the ninjas were and before you knew who we were.

Anyhow, back to something that actually matters - I gotta admit... as someone with a bird name, seeing a line of ants having gone by near my territory, I was very tempted to peck you out and get a good meal out of it. (this was a joke, please disregard) More seriously, I wish you guys luck, if nothing else. Buillin's a pretty cool place.

The difference is that they'll claim it all at once, instead of amending what they want at a later date (after determining what is possibly more reasonable for their size of faction).

No one has taken any of the claims in the area, so I don't see a reason not to "claim" even more from your position. In the end it might not mean much, but for now it is a courtesy, at least.
