My archer Nanna has 200k or so, (then i went crazy and started buying all the gear I can use as archer) She makes about 3000 to 6000 a map or so.
My one hand shield Baldr has a constant 20000 (always buy armour for him, and new weapons.) He makes about 2000 to 3000 a map.
INCREASE THE REPAIR COSTS FOR CHRIST SAKE!!
On the NA servers, these numbers are not possible without a high modifier, or playing in peasant gear all the time. I just did the math, and if you AVERAGE an x3 modifier, which is significantly above what THE average modifier is(1.9), you'd make 3750 gold per map if the entire map duration was used for each round. This isn't even taking into consideration the cost of the equipment that you have break. If you use even ONE top tier weapon that breaks, with no other equipment breaking, that drops you below the 3k mark alone.
If you use 35k worth of equipment, divided equally among 7 slots(head, body, legs, hands, weapon, weapon2, ammo), your estimated repair cost in the above scenario would be approximately 1400. So you would have a net gain of 2350 in about 30 minutes if you averaged an x3 at the 35k equipment value.
The issue is, if you have a lower modifier for extended periods of time, not only does it suck to lose, but you get TERRIBLE xp and gold. At 1x, your income would only be 1250, while your expenses would remain at 1400. The reason this system works now is because all of those people you see wearing expensive gear, swinging expensive weapons; They lose money very quickly at low modifiers, depending on how expensive their gear is.
