You are one of the reasons why I don't want the Battlefork lol...I know it is a weapon you use often, so I don't want to look like a poser XD
Originality is a huge thing to me...after you learn how to block, play every class playable, it's really all that's left to do that feels new. And the last thing I want to do is be cramping anyones style.
I've been swapping classes and weapon for too long, and I want to settle with something that is original yet effective. To me it came down to the awlpike and the battlefork.
2h's all looked the same to me...one handers were fun for a while, but running around without a shield makes you look rather silly...so my last option was polearms, it seemed like they were functional and had alot of variety.
I didn't want the warspear, everyone uses that thing...I didn't like the bec, because in my eyes that is Gores weapon. Poleaxes, glaives, baradiches, I see those all the time too.
I tried using the staff for a while, but it didn't fulfil the "functional" role...And the quarter staff and iron staff look meh imo.
I don't like crushthrough, I think they are worse than archers (in terms of annoyance). I also dont like pikes because I like to duel every now and then.
So yah, if you have any other suggestions...It doesn't have to be an awlpike or fork. I have just been playing forever, and have never decided on the weapon I actually want to play up to MW with.
