Hey Devs!

You know this wonderful castle?


There is a bug, at least as wonderful as this map.
If you go to the small (but most important) gate, and put a ladder directly, as close as possible infront of it, and standing as close as possible infront of the gate, between the gate and the ladder, you can walk trough the gate.

I hope you can see it on my screenshots. You can also do it by yourself to test it.


So as you can see here, one can easily walk through the gate. Its working from both sides. Its not very helpful for defenders, but as attacker, one is in the castle 20 seconds after the round starts, and can open the gate. Which means the attacker will win this after 1 min.

So please fix this bug.

This is working probably on most maps. On huge gate too. I saw this on one of native siege map [don't remember the name].

I'm not sure if this can be fixed...

The goal of Strategus battles shouldnt be to deprive your enemies of players, but to have full roster both sides and have the gear/tactics/strategy win the day rather than lack of merc support.

this is pretty much an engine bug, which admins should be enforcing as 'exploiting' to stop. 
Admins need to better communicate, educate and get the word out that this will be punished, and enforce lengthy bans for it.

I used to use tatics like this to walk up thru ceilings (not thru walls/gate..which I consider quite a difference), because I'd seen it done before countless times and admins I had talked to didnt really understand or care.  They never updated their rules about it either.
