Things I have shared with my parents (born early 60s) that they enjoy:
things my parents "don't understand" (bad millenials music here folks)
They are mostly into classic rock and psych rock (surprise!) but also have a good collection of old school "real" blues albums, some 70's R&B, and plenty of other good shit. When I went camping as a kid we listened to Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zepplin, then like Muddy Waters, Paul Simon, assorted prog rock... It's great to be like "Crimson Kings is good" and my dad is like "
yo I went to a concert in the 70s and saw them live!!! " I would be sad if my parents liked bad music. Or didn't listen to music at all. Mercy on yalls souls that were raised in such a existentially empty cultural vacuum... no offense honest but thats like not giving your kids books to read
Thanks for reading this parents post
