Also for the Nouvelle France remenber what happen to the british when they try to land the first time on Quebec baie of beauport they came with 49 ships 1 944 canons and 13 500 crews with a army of 8500 british soldier. They try to land 4000 soldier on the north of the river at the front of Fall Montmorency east of Beauport, they lost

La flotte comprend 49 navires de guerre armés de 1 944 canons et ayant à leur bord 13 500 membres d'équipage. La force de débarquement consiste en une armée de 8 500 soldats britanniques (7 030 réguliers britanniques, 1 280 réguliers des colonies) et plusieurs pièces d'artillerie.
Une tentative de mettre à terre 4 000 hommes sur la rive nord du fleuve vis-à-vis des Chutes Montmorency, à l'est de Beauport, échoue le 31 juillet. C'est la Bataille de Beauport. La bataille du 13 septembre survient suite à la réussite d'un débarquement massif des troupes britanniques à l'anse au Foulon.
