It is fast and it does really good damage. Only downside is the really short lenght, but ýou just need to go and facehug ppl.
I mean seriously. I'm quite sure there's no other 1-handed (not heirloomed) weapon that packs such a good punch with a speed like that.

Style! Italian Falchion is IMO the best looking 1-h -weapon in this mod. . Besides, Italian Falchion has lower price, plus a little advantage on speed and reach. Those reasons are good enough for me.

Infante, you forget that the OP is looking for FAST 1-handers, so in that light Italian falchion shines over the Steel Pick. Naturally I agree that Steel Pick is propably a better weapon, but it just isn't too fast (and it costs twice as much as the IF  ).

I doubt the OP would be able to tell the difference between a 99 speed rating weapon in action and a 101 speed rating weapon in action. Both are very fast.

It's 97 speed, but you're not going to outspam anyone anyway. If you can outspam someone with a 101 speed 1h, you can do it with a 97 speed 1h too.

The thrust on the KAS hurts. Badly. Especially when placed in the face area. The long espada does the stabbing job even better, but I would classify that more as a specialist sword. The low cut damage on swings means you have to stab more often, which is harder to do than just swinging your weapon.

The KAS is also very useable from horseback (if you ever want to play mounted that is) and can be used perfectly fine without a shield (swashbucklin style).

I wouldn't use any other sword than the knightly arming sword (or the long espada eslavona when I feel like it).

The KAS is definitely a solid weapon. I still feel the +2 speed and +1 stab on the Italian outweighs the +1 cut and the +4 reach on the KAS though. The 2k price difference is also nice.

Totally agree and disagree at the same time.

The Knightly Armin Sword is really good and I use it all the time. But there is ONE other sword that you could use instead and which is almost the same. Surprisingly much the same. It's the LONG Arming Sword. Exactly the same, except cheaper and with 1 less cut. Good for the man who needs to maximise his money making abilities for different reasons. Like me when I used a horse.
