Remove upkeep from pilfered weapons.

We have all, at a low point in our lives. Stolen. And shamefully mostly from dead people... Who am I kidding, only from dead people.

It is the great stain upon our nobel history.

Or so I've been told by pompus, billious, fat rich jerks. That I tend to kill and rob, woohoo got a love being a convict.

I am, being a kleptomaniac, not at all a fan of coping an upkeep fee on stolen gear. Especially when you die on the back a plated charger, while holding a stolen heavy lance, with a stolen long espada and a stole plate shield... it stings like the proverbial bitch that it is.

Anyway, am I alone in thinking that stolen things are the best things? It would be a nice little bonus that if you could steal gear and keep your hands on it for a couple rounds that you wouldn't pay upkeep on it.

Fammi un pompino!

I think I have ball cancer in my right nut :(
Good news everybody! It's not nut cancer :)
Bad news everybody, I got dumped :(

drop it at the end of the round/before start of next round, no need to be carrying it round after round...just loot the battlefield again

system you're proposing is wide open for exploitation....
At start of map, I drop my weapon for you and you drop your weapon for me..we never pay repairs.

If droping it at the end stops upkeep roll you can exploit it just like you say right now.

You can avoid repairing scavenged equipment by turning off auto-repair. This leads me to believe the repairs are a bug rather than a feature. But honestly, it's been around so long I don't even know now.

Regardless, I approve of the change.
Wherever I tread, only chaos & destruction follow.

Duh even if you drop your OWN weapon you will still get upkeep from it only the round AFTER you wouldn't if you exchanged it with a weapon found on the ground.

And I thought it was working like this already? I read some were that even tough the message show ingame that you lost money on the webpage you don't get deducted money.
