Urrgh... what else do you think people are buying with in the buy section. You can say that you trade money for anything in reality, no matter which type of money you are using. But when you buy something from someone you don`t ask if they want to trade whatever you are buying for gold. You ask if you can buy it.
The way you think there would be no need for a buy section and a sell section. You can sell items in the buy section by saying that you are wanting to buy some gold for your items, and you could post in the sell section when buying by saying that you are selling gold for items.
It does not make sense and just makes a mess. I hope for your own sake that you understand what I am trying to tell you.
