Thank you.

is it possible to keep the"ugly" flying bolts and arrows?
For sure it is possible, but I'm not going to release the item_kinds.txt with the flying_missile objects.

But I could show you how to chance them back...

backquivers were used, but not for warfare. using a backquiver is only vaiable if you have to move through an area which has narrow passings and where your sidequiver can get stuck behind things, such as trees and bushes, that's why a backquiver is only vaiable when you are hunting in the woods. the reason why you should normally use a sidequiver is because it's just faster then a backquiver, that's because the arrow is already closer to the position it should be on your bow to shoot it. and i'm an archer in rl myself, so i know. amazing work so far btw. the full quivers really are a nice contribution to the mod.

Really good work, I like seeing my quiver actually empty and not only at the very end.
Maybe you could join this with finalboss's for the looms he is doing and save him some work if he hasn't done it (just a suggestion)
Also, is it my impression, or have the bodkin arrows become a bit lighter colour than they were before?
Anyway, I really enjoy this mod, the animation now looks as if it was acually grabbing the arrow
Edit: I have lags and a consistent fps drop while using this mod, any reasons as to what can be causing it?

Sebastian do you have this mod with the original crosshair?

Or is it easy just to replace yours with the original one? I don't want to adapt to any crosshair^^

The easiest way to do this would be to copy the ui_gadgets.dds from your Warband/Textures-Folder into your cRPG/Textures-Folder.
Edit: This File for the really lazy ones

backquivers were used, but not for warfare.
Wrong.
Both types of quivers were used, also for warfare.
But the most arrows were stuck on the ground(for fast shooting).
A backquiver also gives a better ability to run.

And yes I'm an archer in RL...
I also made my own medieval bows, arrows, quivers and other stuff.

Edit: I have lags and a consistent fps drop while using this mod, any reasons as to what can be causing it?
I'm working on a patch wich should solve some performance issues.

Sebastian do you have this mod with the original crosshair?
Just delete the ui_gadgets.dds which is located in the texture folder of crpg.

Why do I still have the sidequiver animation when I use your backquiver mod?

Btw, one problem about your changed flying arrows:  It's nice, that you have an arrow instead of a line, problem is that you don't see any arrow flying.

Another thing: Is it intended that your crosshair is so much above your actual shot?  Regardless where I am, my crosshair is above the position I'm actually hitting.
I know as an archer you always have to aim higher than your target is, but with your mod I have to aim higher AND consider that I have to aim higher for another 2 centimeters due to that :/

Something more^^  When I take arrows back from the ground, my quiver will stay empty on the screen :/

1. You see the old animation, because I haven't changed the bow animation yet.

2. If you see the arrows flying or not depends on your display resolution.
My resolution is 1920x1080 on a 32"screen and I use 4xAA.
But if you cant see the flying arrows while you zoom in, then try to reinstall my mod.

3. The position of the crosshair is still the same as the old one... I just changed the texture of it.
Maybe you tested the new crosshair when it was raining.
Arrows and bolts are flying slower and drop earlier if it's raining.

4. For me all quivers work fine.
Try to reinstall the mod.
