No. It depends on the rapier. Many people think "rapier" only means the thrusting weapon that practically can't cut at all, it doesn't.

Everyone knows it's amazingly crap (although arguably entertaining sometimes) but those weapon tests are "fairly" accurate when it comes to cutting power of melee weapons. If they can cut well with an espada ropera.

We already have the Side Sword, the precursor to the rapier.  It's basically the same as a rapier would be (fast, stabby, elegant) and it fits the time period better.

A stab only would be an epee or foil...and I don't think it has a place in this game!  Other may disagree though.

2. Doesn't fit timeframe.
3. Swords still gay.
4. 100+ speed, stab only? Bitch, please. Then agility builds will flock to this bad-boy like no-other. Blocking won't be important as you'll just get spammed trying to fend off a "125 speed rating" sword by a user who has 170+ wpf.
5. If this sword is implemented, I think lightsabers should be too.
