I really like the Rapier Sword maybe see as far to get it into the cRPG mod! I found a model "don't know if you can use it or even want to pay for it."

http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-rapier-sword/387787

Stats could be around the same as the Long Espada Eslavona with a trade with more cut for less pierce

weapon length: 100
weight: 1.2
difficulty: 13
speed rating: 100
thrust damage: 25 pierce
swing damage: 30 Cut
slots: 1
Cost: 11,500

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Just a guess change it all you like

Let me know what you think!
Have you seen my bodkin?

A rapier is a slender, sharply pointed sword, ideally used for thrusting attacks, used mainly in Early Modern Europe during the 16th and 17th centuries

Doesnt fit cRPG timeframe at all.

30c? more like 15-20c.  Rapiers were so ineffective at cut that duels would often end in one or both duelists bleeding to death.

No. It depends on the rapier. Many people think "rapier" only means the thrusting weapon that practically can't cut at all, it doesn't.

Regardless, we rather need this.

cRPG timeline = Whatever chadz deems ok. There is no real time frame.

And also, as much as I hate bringing this show into any of this. Deadliest warrior had a weapon on a recent episode called espada ropera or whatever, it could cut just as well as a sabre. However I realize they can't in game for balance sake.

The problem with the model is not the price, but that it's high poly (4000 polygons) and thus unfitting for a game.

I wouldn't use Deadliest warrior as reference for anything at all.

Everyone knows it's amazingly crap (although arguably entertaining sometimes) but those weapon tests are "fairly" accurate when it comes to cutting power of melee weapons. If they can cut well with an espada ropera.

Wow that link, the guy speaking is about as good at keeping interest as a below-average maths teacher. He also just talks about one poster for Deadly Warriors? Proves nothing.

Why not do as they did in WFaS? 100+ speed, 100+ length. High pierce damage. No slashing. Those are really fun weapons, especially against plated 2handers (which are balanced in that game).
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

Not really. Dead meat is easier to cut than living meat because the muscle... oh wait. You never said the pig was dead. Gotta watch the show now :D
