but if there is a good reason we need something slightly realistic in this highly UN REALISTIC game, id love to hear from a dev about it

But I agree that it is raining a bit too often, the rain chance should be reduced.

it reduces dmg and accuracy of xbow by 25% and archery by 10%   so it really does nothing to regular bowmen, just xbowmen. which is why its so fucking dumb.

i'll only be happy with this stupid rain when they make a weather sim that reduces swing speed and melee dmg to all players when it happens. then that'll be about even

I actually dont want to argument with realism but:
Have u ever tried to shoot a bow/x-bow, when it rains hard ?
Its a fuckin pain, even if my x-bow isnt that strong like medieval ones

thats the issue tho guy, this isnt a realistic game, so why does one typ of player get effected so much by something that happens so regularly you could set a damn watch to it?

so melee have only run and swing speed penalty
 and now ranged- damage penalty, missle speed penalty and range, run speed penlty and melee wep swing penalty.

Don't mind rain as it is really, maybe happens abit to often, but I'm not bothered.  As a crossbowman I just see that has part of the learning curve, you have to learn how weather affects your weapon to be good.
